I am confused; the fashion fan inside of me is dying to embrace the upcoming Spring/Summer trends while the sensible old lady persona wants to wear thermals and fake fur all the time. Why can't winter just end already so I can wear the short shorts and pale denim that is currently all over the high street. The thing is although I do enjoy the pale pastel tones that the S/S season brings it is impossible to look chic when wearing a flimsy flowered cotton dress in a freak March snow storm. The one thing I really crave is to wear a nice pump without the current fear of frostbitten toes, is that too much to ask? I am beginning to find myself struggling to come up with good 'transitional' looks, does adding a black opaque tight to a light coloured dress suffice? If I abuse the bronzer will my summery glow update my winter woolies? I NEED HELP.

Totallu know what you mean, i'm soo fed up of wearing my winter clothes. I even wore some summery clothes the other day and immediately regretted it as i sat freezing in my office ! Loving those shorts, totally cute :o) xx
ReplyDeleteI'm having exactly the same problem. I love the Spring/Summer stuff, it all looks so pretty in the shops and I dream of wearing it...except when I actually buy something I keep levitating towards the dark tones and leather.
